As the Founder of Caldera Real Estate Ventures, Can (pronounced like “Jon”) Tavsanoglu offers 15 years of principal side real estate investment / development experience combined with over $2bn in closed transactions, developments and financings.
Having graduated from Columbia University’s Master’s in Real Estate in 2009, Mr. Tavsanoglu devoted his career to establishing a vertically integrated skillset in real estate and served as a senior investment executive / head of acquisitions in brand name investment firms like:
In addition to his Master’s Degree in Real Estate from Columbia University, Mr. Tavsanoglu holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Istanbul Technical University and has started his career as an architect in London. Mr. Tavsanoglu currently lives in New York City and is an active member of ULI US, a current member of the ULI New York Housing Council, a member of Forbes Business Council and a member of Turkish Philanthropy Funds.
Mr. Tavsanoglu also holds Finra Series 82 and Finra Series 63 securities licenses.
